SUSTAIN dedicates its 2026 Young Member Grant to ICOM-SEYCHELLES and SAREC-funded Student and Young Professionals Forum Network, SAREC Project, Young Member Grant

SUSTAIN is pleased to announce the call for applications for its 2026 Young Member Grant.
SUSTAIN has dedicated 1,200 Euros to support young ICOM members participating in the forum, Sustainable Management of Museum Collections in the Context of Climate Change: The Role of Young People.  This forum for students and young professionals is hosted by ICOM-SEYCHELLES with support from SAREC.
The forum, held 21-23 October at the Savoy Resorts, Seychelles, seeks to bring together the brightest minds in museum and heritage studies. This includes young professionals, the current innovators driving institutional sustainability plans. The planning team promises a vital platform for cross-cultural exchange, practical action and the development of robust, climate-responsive museum management strategies tailored for tropical and island contexts.
Want to be part of the think tank iterating a solution? ACT SOON! The planning committee will select 40 individuals to be part of the program. The forum website – https://icomforum2026.com/ – includes the call for papers and information about registration, lodging, and logistics. Scroll down on that website and after “Call for Speakers” you will find “Young Members Travel Grant” information, including the applications to download and return. Follow the directions!
