ICOM-SUSTAIN launched its Young Member Grant in 2024. 

Watch for the next call for applications for the 2026 grant.

GOAL: to suppport sustainability projects in museums and/or the advancement of understanding and education in the sustainability field.

Examples include:

• supporting a project around sustainability in museums, such as dissertation or PhD research.
• creating an engagement project (e.g. climate café, learning program).
• disseminating information and documentation around sustainability (e.g. creating and printing information flyers about sustainability in museums).
• attending a relevant sustainability conference, with a preference, but not limited to, museum-related ones (the grant could support registration, transportation or accommodation fees).
• subscribing to a course or training.

The maximum award is 1,200 Euros. Proof of expenses must be submitted before reimbursement can be made, up to the maximum award.
